MARCH 2020

Welcome to The Gambier House.  At 28 years, we are Gambier’s longest continuously operating bed and breakfast.   We hope you’ll like us on Facebook: gambierhousebandb.

Well, Covid-19 has altered everything in the Village.  After a busy weekend of Kenyon students moving out, we are closing the bed and breakfast until April 1st so that the House and the Innkeeper can be sure the virus isn’t lurking.

While Gov. DeWine has put Ohio on ‘stay-at-home’ until April 6th, we might be open after the 1st.  If you’d like to stay, please give us a call and we’ll see what the latest word is.  Remember, there are many springtime getaways in the area: you can walk/ride/run the Kokosing Gap Trail, visit the Kokosing Nature Preserve and drive through Amish County (we’re just a hop/skip/jump away).   Spring is one of the prettiest times of the year in Gambier and Knox County.  It is a shame not to enjoy it.

Without the 300 year old pine tree (you can pay homage at its stump) the view from the front porch is unobstructed.  If a cold porch is not your style, there’s a fire in the hearth.  We hope to see you soon!
