Welcome to The Gambier House.  At 27 years, we are Gambier’s longest continuously operating bed and breakfast.   We hope you’ll like us on Facebook: gambierhousebandb.

They’re back!  Yes, it is back to school time here in Gambier.  Kenyon’s first years are arriving (the fall sports teams are already ensconced) and much of the summer construction is drawing to a close (whew!).  September will feature lots of extracurricular activities that might get you here for a visit.

The usual Central Ohio weather: hazy, hot and humid continues.  That makes area attractions all the more enjoyable: the Brown Family Environmental Center, the Kokosing Gap Trail, the Kokosing River (we can guide you toward canoe and kayak rentals), the Kokosing Nature Preserve and Amish Country (we’re just a hop/skip/jump away).

Roam the shelves at the Kenyon Bookstore and get a bite at The Kenyon Inn, the Village Inn, the Gambier Deli.  Wiggin St. Coffee is a great place to continue the wake-up after a gourmet breakfast with us.  We are still awaiting the opening of our last area restaurant: Chilitos, perhaps in September?!

Without the 300 year old pine tree (you can pay homage at its stump) the view from the front porch is unobstructed and the rockers that much more inviting.  We hope to see you on one of those rockers soon!
