JUNE 2019

Welcome to The Gambier House.  At 27 years, we are Gambier’s longest continuously operating bed and breakfast.   We hope you’ll like us on Facebook: gambierhousebandb.

Exciting News!  The famous and gorgeous Schnormeier Gardens, located just across the Kokosing River from Gambier, are open every weekend in June this year (a first).  We still have weekend rooms available should you wish to see these remarkable private gardens Thursdays – Sundays this month.

If it EVER stops raining there are lots of local nature attractions to while away a summer day.  These include the Brown Family Environmental Center, the Kokosing Gap Trail, the Kokosing River (we can guide you toward canoe and kayak rentals), the Kokosing Nature Preserve and Amish Country (we’re just a hop/skip/jump away).

Roam the shelves at the Kenyon Bookstore and get a bite at The Kenyon Inn, the Village Inn, the Gambier Deli or, opening in June, Chilito’s Mexican restaurant!  Wiggin St. Coffee is a great place to continue the wake-up after a gourmet breakfast with us.

For July Kenyon Review Writers, rooms for the residency are still available if you don’t want to spend the nights in the dorms!!  Whatever the reason for the visit, we hope to see you on a porch rocker soon!
