Welcome to The Gambier House website.  At 26 years, the House is Gambier’s longest continuously operating bed and breakfast.   Finally, we’re on Facebook, we hope you’ll like us: gambierhousebandb!

Happy 4th of July!  It is one of our favorite times of year.  The Village of Gambier 4th parade is something not to be missed.  We’ll be watching (and joining the parade) with dogs all gussied up for the season.

Hazy, Hot and Humid has settled in, which means it is time for Kokosing River water fun (kayaking, canoeing, fishing).  The House is just up the hill from the river and the Kokosing Gap Trail for walkers and cyclists.  Friday eves see live music on the lawn at The Kenyon Inn and the Kenyon Review’s Writers Workshops provide fascinating live readings of an evening.  Amish Country is a short drive away.

The Kenyon Bookstore is all new and you can still get a bite at The Kenyon Inn or the Village Inn.  Wiggin St. Coffee is a great place to continue the wake-up after a gourmet breakfast with us.

Wishing you a wonderful summer and hope you’ll come and enjoy a porch rocker in the coming months.  If the deer don’t eat them, our day lily display is wonderful!  (So far, we’re winning the day lily war.)
