Welcome to The Gambier House website.  At 25 years, the House is  Gambier’s longest continuously operating bed and breakfast.   Finally, we’re on Facebook, we hope you’ll like us: gambierhousebandb!

It has been a frigid and snowy new year so far but the middle of January has us in a thaw and the prospect of more r(s)easonable temperatures.   If you can brave it there are many interesting hikes in the area (the Kokosing Gap Trail), a scenic river (The Kokosing) to enjoy and lots of flora and fauna to catch the eye.  Amish country is just up the road and we can point you toward bald eagle and heron nests and, of course, the white-tailed deer wandering through the Village.

The College’s construction boom in downtown Gambier continues, which means some traffic challenges and fewer dining options but the Kenyon Inn and Village Inn are both open.

We are up and running with weekdays and weekends open through the end of February.  Our winter break tidying has concluded and the sign has a new coat of paint.  Wishing you a happy and healthy new year and hope you’ll share a chilly porch rocker or the warmth of the family room fireplace in the coming months.
