Welcome to The Gambier House website.  This year we are celebrating 25 years as Gambier’s longest continuously operating bed and breakfast.   Finally, we’re on Facebook, we hope you’ll like us: gambierhousebandb!

We had snow for Christmas (first white one in over 5 years!) and now snow for New Year’s.  Gambier is quite charming but VERY cold!  If you can brave it there are many interesting hikes in the area (the Kokosing Gap Trail), a scenic river (The Kokosing) to enjoy and lots of flora and fauna to catch the eye.  Amish country is just up the road and we can point you toward bald eagle and heron nests and, of course, the white-tailed deer wandering through the Village.

The College’s construction boom in downtown Gambier continues, which means some traffic challenges and fewer dining options but the Kenyon Inn and Village Inn are both open.

We are still in the midst of semester break and won’t be open again until January 12th. Until then, we wish you a happy and healthy new year and look forward to sharing a chilly porch rocker with you or the warmth of the family room fireplace in the coming months.
